July 2010 South-western part of the Menai Strait
Mariners are advised that a current measuring device has been deployed on the seabed approximately 1 cable southwest of Channel Buoy C13 in position 53°09.45’N 004°15.98’W. The location is marked with a pink coloured inflatable mooring buoy. It is envisaged that the instrument will be in position for approximately 14 days. Mariners are advised to give the marker buoy a wide berth and not to attempt to pick up or moor to the marker buoy.
