North-eastern part of the Menai Strait - Outfall marker off Beaumaris

August 2010 Mariners are advised that the unlighted green beacon in position 53°15.86’N004°04.99’W off Beaumaris is temporarily missing. The base of the beacon is believed to be protruding from the seabed and therefore mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution in this area and to give the positionof the beacon a wide berth. Anglesey County Council are arranging to deploy a temporary marker buoy in theposition of the beacon.
